The problem with one page for everything

Most remodeling sites have a single services page covering kitchens, baths, additions and everything else. A homeowner planning a $60,000 kitchen lands on it, finds one paragraph about kitchens, and leaves.

Google does the same thing. A page about everything competes for nothing. The companies above you in the results usually have a real page for each type of job, with photos and a clear sense of what the work costs and how long it takes.

What that looks like when it is done right

  • A page for each type of job you want more of
  • Project photos attached to the kind of job they came from
  • Reviews that mention the actual work, not just "great service"
  • A Google listing that is complete and gets added to
  • A clear way to get in touch on every page

The process

How we work

You see what your market looks like before committing to anything.

01

We find the jobs worth competing for

Kitchen remodels, bath remodels, additions, ADUs, whole-home. Each one is searched differently and is worth something different to you. We start by working out which ones are winnable in your area.

02

We build a page for each one

A homeowner planning a kitchen does not want a page that lists twelve services. They want to see kitchens: the work, the range, what the process is like, and who did it.

03

We make the proof visible

Project photos, reviews that mention the actual job, a Google listing that is current. Remodeling is bought on trust, and most remodeler sites hide the proof they already have.

04

We report on calls, not rankings

Each month you get the number of calls, where they came from, and what moved. If something is not working we say so and change it.

No pitch. No pressure.

Common questions

Straight answers.

How long does it take for a remodeling company to see results?

Expect 60 to 90 days for early movement and four to six months in a crowded market. Remodeling searches are seasonal in most areas, so we also tell you where your own busy and slow months sit before we start.

What does this cost?

It depends on how competitive your area is and how many types of jobs you want to compete for, so any number we put on this page would be wrong for most remodelers reading it. We look at your market first, then give you the real figure on the first call. The call is free and there is no obligation to go ahead.

We already get referrals. Is this worth it?

Referrals are the best work you will get, and they are also the hardest to turn up when you need them. This is for the months when the referral pipeline is thin, and for the homeowners in your area who do not know anyone who has remodeled recently.

Can you help us get bigger jobs, not just more of them?

To a point. We can aim at the searches that come from larger projects, like additions, ADUs and whole-home work, instead of small repairs. What we cannot do is change what your site shows: if the photos and reviews are all small jobs, that is what homeowners will expect.

Do you work with remodelers outside California?

Yes. The work is about your area rather than ours. We currently work with contractors in California, Washington and Oregon.
